The Boys to Men Leadership Academy guides and supports African American/Black boys ages 11-18 to become responsible men and blaze their path to greatness. The boys meet with a group of coaches (mentors) during a weekly 90-minute mentoring session for 30-weeks. Our goal is to give them a strong sense of purpose boosting their character, confidence, and consciousness.  

Our mentoring experiences are designed to promote growth, social and emotional wellness, pride, and self-respect, countering negative behaviors and attitudes.  Our focus on social-emotional wellness serves as the foundation to promoting positive relationships, increasing graduation rates, and decreasing the likelihood of criminal justice involvement.
