A resident of Delray Beach, Michael Evans, Sr. is the owner and operator of a state class A certified AC contractor who became involved in Connect to Greatness to help young Black men realize their full potential. He wanted to give back to his community.
1) Why did you want to get involved with Connect to Greatness?
I wanted to get involved with Connect to Greatness because I felt I had something to offer and wanted give back to my community as others gave to me when I was growing up.
2) What do you hope to gain from your involvement with Connect to Greatness?
I hope I can help this organization become the most unique of its kind while helping young Black men realize their full potential.
3) Tell us about yourself.
I was born in Brooklyn, NY. I moved to Delray Beach, FL when I was three years old. After being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps as a refrigeration mechanic, I returned to Delray Beach, started a family and enrolled in HVAC school. I am the owner and operator of a state class A certified AC contractor, and I am giving back in every way I can within my means.
