James “Andre” Thaddies was born and raised in Delray Beach, Florida. He is a graduate of Atlantic Community High School. He attended college at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN on a football scholarship and completed college with a Bachleors of Arts Degree in Sociology. He lived in Minneapolis for 15 years where he met his wife, Cassondra Thaddies. They have two sons, James Andre Jr. and Quentin Myles. Andre moved back to Florida with his family in 2001.
Andre currently works as the OAG (Office of Attorney General) Manager at the Urban League of Palm Beach County. He has 22 years of experience and knowledge working with youth and families. The extent of his experience has ranged from public schools, social services, law enforcement agencies, and coaching. Over the years, his diverse trainings has allowed him the opportunity to keep up with the most relevant trends in counseling, public speaking, law enforcement, and program development. His passion for coaching high school football and track extends over 24 years. He remains as passionate today as he was the first day he coached young athletes. His ability to reach youth has allowed him to help in the personal lives of his players as well as supporting them to reach their college dreams. He has coached football since 1993. He has worked with and coached over 65 athletes to go on and participate in collegiate athletics. Andre currently serves as the Defensive Coordinator at Atlantic High School.
